Who We Are
We, at Hill Capital Toastmasters Club, and operate under Club Charter << >> issued by Toastmasters International in << >>. Our Club membership reflects the great variety of Kandy and Central Province in sri Lanka.
What We Do
Toastmasters will help you develop your skills as a writer, speaker, and storyteller with membership in Toastmasters. Our educational system of manual speeches and positive, motivational evaluations will help hone your skills as an 'artist of the spoken word'. There is no instructor. Instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved.
How It Works
Do you want to be an effective communicator? Get weekly practice in rehearsed speeches, impromptu speaking, and running effective meetings when you join Toastmasters. Looking to develop your leadership skills in a safe and fun environment? Not only will Toastmasters help you develop the communication skills you need to direct your team, but through the Competent Leader and Advanced Leader awards, you will gain experience that will put you at the head of the pack!
